ELM Takadanobaba is a 185-room apartment-style property in a residential neighborhood of Takadanobaba, Shinjuku-ku. It is operated by matsuri technologies, Inc. as a registered private lodging facility.
We are a 7-minute walk from Takadanobaba Station rather than right outside it. In exchange, the nights are quiet, there is a library nearby, and a convenience store and a supermarket are just 1 and 4 minutes away on foot.
From Takadanobaba, Shinjuku and Ikebukuro are each just two stops away (3–5 minutes by train). Easy to get out, quiet to come home to.
Every room has a kitchen corner (refrigerator, microwave, cookware and tableware). On a short trip, you don't have to eat out for every meal; on a stay of a month or more, it helps you keep your usual routine. Being able to cook changes how you spend your stay.
For laundry, please use the shared coin laundry. There are no washing machines in the rooms.
For guests who work remotely, every room has Wi-Fi fast enough for work.
Some room types sleep up to four, but once you allow for luggage and everyday living, every room type is most comfortable for one or two guests.
The most common room type is the Standard Room (16㎡), our basic room for two. If you spend a lot of time in the room, choose the 19㎡ Superior Room; if you prefer separate beds, choose the 22㎡ Standard Twin Room.
Check-in is self-service, and there is no staffed front desk. If you need anything during your stay, contact us using the details we send before you arrive, and our concierge team will help.
Because the property is unstaffed, rooms are not cleaned and linens are not changed during your stay. The savings are reflected in our room rates.
